Why did US Cellular look past all of the LG UX260 problems?
The Samsung 2-step is really lousy for reception how did that ever get approved?
I've had the Delve and have never seen so many bouncing reception bars.
It just seems US Cellular is crawling into bed with LG and Samsung.
like I said, i called at least a dozen stores looking for a used Hint.
They all told me the same thing, we haven't had any come back and haven't had any customer complaints about the phone.
The correct way to have done it would have been to tell people that were interested
in purchasing the Hint that there has been a relatively low amount of customers that have reported software issues and let them decide.
I agree the 260 should have been pulled even though the ratio of [purchased:to those with issues] was actually pretty damn low (I agree that the gap in that ratio for the Hint is even larger) But with that we're learning from mistakes and trying to give the best customer experience.
As a business giving customers that option is a bad idea...I've personally ran into situations like this and it's bitten me in the ass; it's best just to avoid the situation and do what we feel is the best for our customers. Running a business isn't a full democracy between business and customer. Just like any other situation in life if you don't like they way things are being taken care of either: voice your opinion to those who will listen, deal with it and know it's for the best or just leave.
As for the a470 and r800 "reception issues" there is no issue...Samsung just has never been known to carry the strongest CDMA reception strength (compared to Motorola and LG).
